When the blockbuster movie "Titanic" hit the big screens, I couldn't believe and comprehend what some people did. They watched the movie again and again and again. I watched it only once and at the end of it I got pain in my butt. (I was seated on the steps the whole run *grin*) I don't know if there was a guiness world record set for such feat. Some even watched it totalling 24 hours and bet you it's not even the best record time haha. At that time I called these people crazy! (By the way most of those who vied for the record were women, of course that's not unusual *grin*)
Twelve years later (or is it eleven? haha) I've done what those "crazys" did. I watched the movie "Bucket List" for the nth time (LMHO). For this I have to ask forgiveness not from the "crazys" but from those who produced and made the movie. Why? Because the copy I had was pirated. I had to start the movie again and again and again since it always hung. Until finally I got hold of an original copy and my hunger for "Bucket List" ended.
Well, lessons learned? Spend for an original copy and save yourself time and from emotional discomforts. The movie is a motivational film good for people not only with limited time here on earth but also for people who limits time in their lives. Men and women who run after time as if time is the real gold. And missing the fact that what makes time gold is actually the little things that make time. It is a movie for people who are not afraid to do even the most trivial thing in life, perhaps like laughing till you cry.
hey HRY i love that movie too, especially the actor Morgan Freeman.
ReplyDeletethank you padre
DeleteI watched it in HBO years back. Old movies usually have good pirated copies. Besides, without these cheap copies, I could not even afford to bring my entire family, eight of us, to watch a movie. Nor, buy original DVDs.
